Our Boerum Hill missional community (serving Gowanus, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Ft/Greene and Brooklyn Heights) meets once a month (next meeting August 5th at 7:30PM.)

Serving Opportunities

We will continue serving at Plenty Farm throughout the summer (pictured above), 19-21 Hunterfly Place (at Atlantic, near the Utica A/C stop). We will be weeding, mulching, planting and getting to know others who work in the area’s gardens to give food to the Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger. We are also joining Hello Rewind in helping victims of sex trafficking. Our role is to help collect, sort and cut t-shirts for the women to sew that will eventually become laptop sleeves. You can bring shirts to the Sunday gathering, and we will be sorting and cutting at our next MC meeting.

Life Together

In between meetings, we gather in smaller life groups and serve around the area.  If you’re interested in attending and have questions, contact Kristen. You can also join our Google Group to stay connected, share needs and suggest service opportunities in the neighborhood.
